FAQ

Before You Send an Enquiry

Can you work from a worn part instead of a drawing?

Yes — that is the majority of aftermarket work. We measure the interfaces, reconstruct the vane profile and state on the quotation which dimensions came from the sample.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Single pieces are accepted. The casting route changes with quantity, so the unit price moves substantially between one piece and a batch.

Do you supply material certificates?

EN 10204 3.1 per heat with spectrometer results. Dimensional and balancing reports ship with the parts.

Can you match an alloy we cannot identify?

PMI on the sample identifies the alloy family. We state what was found and what we propose to pour — occasionally a better choice than the original.

How long does a first article take?

It depends on tooling. Lead time is quoted per project after the interface review rather than published as a blanket figure.

Do you handle balancing in-house?

Yes, to ISO 1940 G6.3 as standard and tighter grades on request. The achieved grade is stated on the report.
